Sexy September

note: this was obviously suppose to be posted yesterday, but i apparently forgot to! oops!

it seems like all the days have some kind of name to go with them. like.. thirsty thursday, flashback friday, meatless monday. oh and hump day. which is today.


love that commercial. anywho. ive decided to make this month "sexy september". this is the month me and the husband start our journeys of being sexier versions of us. we might not get totally sexy this month, but we will have a good start.

you may remember me saying on friday that the husband wants to lose weight too now. well on monday he found out that they are doing another "biggest loser" competition at his work. umm perfect. he didnt get to finish last year cuz he missed weigh ins, but he had lost like 20 lbs 2 months in. so now i really have to make sure i clean up our eating around here. i mean hey... who doesnt want the money prize.

ill be sharing what we are eating. and i have a few dinner recipes to share with you. and ill be sharing my workouts.

my workout schedule i plan to use is: 3 days of strength, 3 days of cardio (probably running), and maybe do some pilates to add to make some two-a-days. whew! thats a whole lot.

Five for Friday

1. im off from work today with the hubby, so i get an extra long day weekend off since we are off monday for labor day. i also thought today was saturday and that i forgot my friday post.

2. this weekend my oldest niece turns 2! where has the time gone?? her birthday party is tomorrow, and im doing her 2 year old pictures today. lots of julia time this weekend :)

3. i guess labor day declares the end of summer. i got like 2 things done on my summer wish list. i need to work on this whole "living it up" thing. maybe fall will be better. i love fall. is it too early early to decorate for fall?



4. monday starts a new phase of getting healthy here at the house. the husband wants to lose weight too now. so ive cleaned out the kitchen and ready for lots of yummy foods to fill it now so we can be skinny healthy people :)

Good news, Bad news, and Other news

well good news is, my foot hasnt really hurt me the fast few days! bad new, its still has a swollen spot. im not sure if its something i should worry about or not. im not gonna do any running or walking (exercise walking) on it for atleast another week, but ive decided i could atleast do some strength training.

im trying to get a good schedule of what i am going to do to share with you. ive got a plan in my mind... but things never worked out at planned, so itll just be a rough idea of what im going to be doing for the next 3 months. i just cant wait to be exercising again. seriously, never get injured.

Four for Friday

1. its friday!! and tonight is girls night. cant wait to hang out with my ladies. i made them a special treat.



2. its been a week and my STILL hurts! it doesnt really bother me during the day, but once i get home and take my shoe off its like holy hell. i end up walking improperly or on my tip toes. like. i just wanna go for a run. ughhh.

3. this weekend im doing my first "real" photography session for someone. she knows im a newbie, but im gonna give it my best shot. hope they come out good!
